YUKON SOLITAIRE GUIDE

Take the group, even when it looks untidy.

All 52 cards begin in seven columns, with no stock or waste. Bring every card to its suit foundation, from Ace to King. Yukon lets you pick up out-of-order groups.

Choose the first card of your group.

Any face-up card can begin a move. Every card below it comes along in its existing order, even when the ranks and suits do not form a sequence. Only the first card must fit the destination: one rank lower and the opposite colour. A red 7 can carry its whole group onto a black 8.

Make room for Kings.

An empty column accepts a King or a group beginning with a King. Moving a group off a face-down card reveals it automatically. You cannot pick up hidden cards or insert a group into the middle of another column.

Build four suit foundations.

Start each foundation with its Ace and build up in the same suit to King. Only an exposed individual card can enter a foundation. A foundation’s top card may return to a suitable tableau column when that helps another move.

Look for what the whole group carries.

A move can uncover a hidden card while also burying a useful destination. Check the last card of the group as well as its first. Hints identify legal actions using visible cards; they are not a guaranteed route to a win.

Select, then place.

Tap or click a face-up card and then an exposed destination or empty column. The entire selected group is highlighted and listed. Use Tab to reach cards and controls, Enter or Space to activate, and Escape to cancel.

Undo a move or retry the same deal.

Undo restores the last move and any card it revealed, with up to 100 recent moves retained. Retry begins the current level again and keeps your unlocked levels. There is no new stock to draw when you get stuck.
